Multi-objective Optimization Scheduling of Island Multi-energy Complementary Microgrid Based on Improved Whale Algorithm

Aiming at the problems of strong independence of island energy supply and high volatility of renewable energy, this paper constructs a multi-energy complementary microgrid system for islands containing ocean energy generation and desalination devices. A multi-objective optimization model with the optimization objectives of minimizing operating costs, minimizing environmental costs, and minimizing the gap rate of thermal power and freshwater loads is established; an improved multi-objective whate optimization algorithm is proposed to solve the optimization problem. By introducing nonlinear convergence factors and Levy flight strategies, the global search ability and convergence accuracy of the algorithm are significantly improved. finally, the electric power balance of the microgrid under the proposed optimization strategy is shown in detail through the simulation of an example. Finally, the electric power balance and fresh water supply capacity of the microgrid under the proposed optimization strategy are demonstrated in detail through arithmetic simulation, which verifies the validity of the model and the algorithm, and provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the optimal operation of the multi-energy microgrids on the islands.
