Modeling and Simulation Study of a Vacuum Composite On-Load Tap-Changer
The on-load tap-changer (OLTC) is a typical highvoltage electrical device. It adjusts the output voltage under load conditions through a mechanism driven by a motor that moves the moving contacts in coordination with the transformer. Taking a certain type of vacuum composite OLTC as an example, this study presents a full-cycle analysis from physical structure analysis, original model reproduction, and ideal switch modeling, to simulation modeling and verification. This lays a foundation for further research and offers reference for industry applications.
