The Research on Active Balancing Strategy of Lithium Batteries Based on Three-Layer Inductance
To address the inconsistency among individual cells in a lithium battery pack during long-term operation, a fuzzymodel predictive control (MPC)-based active balancing strategy is proposed. First, the three-layer inductive balancing structure is introduced. Then, model predictive control is employed to optimize the balancing path. Finally, the state of charge (SOC) is used as the input to a fuzzy logic algorithm to dynamically adjust the balancing current. Simulation results show that, under idle operating conditions, the proposed fuzzy-MPC-based balancing control strategy can rapidly achieve cell-to-cell balance, reducing the balancing time by $\mathbf{4 1. 4 2 \%}$ compared with the traditional differencebased method.
