Research on On-line Monitoring Method of Carbon Emission in Thermal Power Plant
As one of the first key industries included in the national carbon trading market, the precise measurement of carbon emissions from thermal power enterprises is crucial for the construction of the carbon market. Due to its advantages such as less human interference, high timeliness, and good accuracy, online carbon emission monitoring technology is expected to become the main accounting method supporting real-time carbon trading. This paper proposes an online carbon emission monitoring method based on the continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) for flue gas. Regarding the response time difference caused by non-in-situ collection of carbon dioxide concentration monitoring, experimental exploration shows that this time difference can be ignored for the long-term carbon measurement results of thermal power units. The accuracy test conducted on the flue gas simulation experimental platform indicates that when the flow monitoring accuracy is relatively high, the relative error of the online monitoring method is $\leqslant 1 \%$. The pilot application in a domestic thermal power plant further verifies the feasibility of this method.
