Research on the Safe and Stable Operation of Power Cables Based on Three Lines of Defense
As the core transmission medium of cable tunnels, the power cables carry the key function of power transmission. However, its long-term operation faces serious challenges such as insulation aging, partial discharge and fire risk. The traditional security system is characterized by lagging identification of hidden dangers, low monitoring efficiency, single means of fire-fighting technology and other problems, which is difficult to meet the demand for high standards of safety and reliability of modern power systems. To solve the problem, the three lines of defense of the synergistic protection system is proposed, which is composed by the failure pre-warning, domain-wide state sensing and advanced fire-fighting technology, to achieve the full cycle of power cable safety protection. The closed-loop system of early warning driven perception, perception guided fire extinguishing and fire extinguishing feedback optimization breaking through the limitations of the traditional single-point defense is constructed, providing a systematic solution for the safe operation and maintenance of power cable, and laying a technical foundation for the intelligent transformation of modern power system.
