Study on Inter-provincial Power Absorption Scheme of Zhejiang A Certain Power Station Pumped Storage Power Station

There is a pumped storage gap in the three provinces and one municipality of East China, with Jiangsu Province being particularly prominent. Taking 2035 as the research level year, the a certain power station Pumped Storage Power Station does not allocate absorption capacity according to investment due to the undetermined investment entity. The study adopts the capacity shortage method and the minimum system operation cost method for analysis. The former recommends 300,000 kW for Shanghai and 1.1 million kW for Jiangsu; the optimal scheme of the latter is 0 kW for Shanghai + 1.4 million kW for Jiangsu, and the sub-optimal scheme is 100,000 kW for Shanghai + 1.3 million kW for Jiangsu. Comprehensively, the scheme of 100,000 kW for Shanghai and 1.3 million kW for Jiangsu is recommended, which balances the operation cost and gap demand and helps optimize the allocation of power resources in East China.
