New Power System Resilience Enhancement Energy Storage Planning Considering Multiple Uncertainties under Typhoon Disasters
In recent years, the high proportion of renewable energy integration and the frequent occurrence of extreme events have posed significant challenges to the safe and stable operation of power systems. To address the impact of typhoons and the uncertainties associated with renewable energy generation and load on power systems, this paper proposes a new power system resilience enhancement energy storage planning model that accounts for multiple uncertainties. First, using the K-means algorithm and Gaussian mixture models, clustering analysis is performed on typhoons and renewable energy generation and load to generate a set of typical scenarios; Second, a large-scale energy storage planning model is constructed based on typical scenarios of multiple uncertainties, with the objective function being to minimize energy storage investment costs and the expected system operating costs under typical scenarios; Finally, case studies are conducted on the improved IEEE 39-node system to validate the proposed method. Although the proposed method increases the economic costs of the system, it effectively enhances its operational resilience in responding to extreme events.
