Noniterative hologram generation method based on improved spatial domain constraints for color holographic display

In this paper, a noniterative phase-only hologram generation method for color holographic display is proposed. Addressing limitations of traditional iterative (slow convergence and local optima) and noniterative (noise and poor quality) algorithms, the algorithm introduces optimized exponential constraints featuring a dynamic weighting factor and an exponential feedback mechanism during phase optimization. Then, for different target images, a noniterative algorithm is used to modulate red, green, and blue lasers in different channels by time-division multiplexing and finally synthesize color holographic images. Simulations demonstrate significant improvements over classical methods (peak signal-to-noise ratio >15% and structural similarity index measure >0.2). A color holographic display verification system based on liquid crystal on silicon is established, and the effectiveness of this method is verified by optical experiments.
