Accessible Workplaces through Accessible ICT Solutions and Inclusive Procurement Practices
Digital barriers present a significant challenge to the integration of persons with disabilities and elderly people in the workforce within an increasingly digital society. Eliminating these barriers can enable society to unlock the full potential of the labour force, aligning with global objectives for sustainable development and human rights. This paper examines these challenges, explores potential solutions, and aims to analyse the extent to which accessible ICT and inclusive procurement practices can contribute to fostering a more inclusive and accessible digital labour market, based on the Norwegian case.
