ESG E EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA COMO SOLUÇÃO PARA UM FUTURO SUSTENTÁVEL

This research involves an analysis of the impact of the development of accumulator and battery technologies on energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The main objective of the study was to analyze how these technologies can boost energy efficiency, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and improving the autonomy of devices and electric vehicles. The growing demand for sustainable solutions and the need to integrate practices that promote the reduction of environmental impact and the transition to a more sustainable energy future justify this study. The methodology used was qualitative and descriptive, based on a bibliographic research procedure. The analysis was conducted through the review of relevant articles and publications from 2020 to 2024. The results indicated that innovations in energy storage technologies, such as lithium-ion batteries, have a significant impact on energy efficiency by contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by replacing non-renewable sources with clean alternatives. The improvement of batteries favors greater autonomy for electric vehicles and electronic devices, facilitating the transition to more sustainable mobility. It was concluded that the continuous development of energy storage technologies, aligned with ESG principles, represents a promising solution for achieving a more sustainable future, with reduced carbon emissions and the transition to renewable energy sources.
