Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy-related T-cell malignancies: raising awareness of cutaneous manifestations
CAR T-cell therapies for blood cancers have recently been associated with secondary T-cell malignancies that can initially present on the skin. We discuss the molecular, immunological and clinical features of these cases and compare them with cutaneous and other T-cell lymphomas. Raising awareness of these secondary neoplasms is important for dermatologists who may be called on for intervention.
