Berberine-doped liposomes enhance factor IX mutant mRNA delivery for protein replacement therapy in hemophilia B
Berberine-functionalized liposomes were developed for hemophilia B mRNA therapy. Six FIX mutant mRNAs were screened and complexed with berberine-doped liposomes, achieving efficient hepatic delivery and sustained FIX protein expression.
