Research on Optimization of Digital Electronic Truck Scales Based on Elastomer Strain
This study focuses on the application of a new type of columnar resistance strain weighing sensor in electronic vehicle scales. In response to the problem of decreased accuracy caused by metal ball indentation in traditional bridge structures, a columnar strain structure is proposed to replace it. This structure has the advantages of small volume, good rigidity, vibration resistance, and strong sealing, and is suitable for complex outdoor environments. The material selected is 17-4PH stainless steel, which balances strength, corrosion resistance, and cost. Aiming at the nonlinear output problem of pure column structure, based on the Saint Venant principle, it is proposed to optimize stress distribution by symmetrically opening blind holes on the elastic body sidewall. Through the joint simulation of Solidworks and Ansys, it is found that the blind hole structure significantly improves strain uniformity and reduces hysteresis error. Balancing processing and sealing performance, ultimately determining the elastic structure, and realizing the structural design of column sensors are of great significance for the optimization design of electronic vehicle scale sensors.
