A High Selective Frequency Selective Surface for 5G mm-Wave Communication Radome
The paper proposes a design of a low loss bandpass FSS radome for the mm-Wave band, which based on the planar structure formed by two conductive layers periodically patterned with holes on a single dielectric substrate. Resonance behavior of the structure is due to strong coupling effects observed in compound periodic supercell leading to lattice resonances. As result, high selective passband response can be observed with two zeros on both sides of the passband. The frequency response can be controlled by manipulating with coupling effects between supercell resonant elements.
