Design and usability evaluation of a drone-based digital logistics dashboard with real-time tracking and automated payment integration
This study presents the development of a dashboard for a logistics delivery system based on semi-autonomous drones, aimed at improving food delivery efficiency. The system was implemented using the prototyping method. It integrates Firebase for real-time drone tracking and Xendit API for automated payment transactions. The dashboard, developed with the Laravel framework, is designed for two main user roles admin and operator. Admins manage orders and menus, while operators handle drones and monitor deliveries. Usability testing was conducted using the Maze platform and Single Ease Question (SEQ), where all activities received the highest score (7), indicating excellent intuitiveness. Additionally, a System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment yielded a score of 76.25, categorizing the system as good and acceptable. User feedback suggested improvements, such as adding an invoice feature and displaying menu ingredients. Overall, the system demonstrates significant potential to enhance delivery responsiveness and transparency by leveraging cloud services and drone technology in digital logistics.
