Estimation of Resonance Frequencies of Ultrasonic Transducers

The frequency features of ultrasonic transducers are examined. In the frequency domain and in domain of Discrete Fourier Transform complex impedances of transducers are presented in the form of the ratio of polynomials. The Gauss-Newton method with optimal weighting was used to decrease the errors of the Levy method. The results of the proposed algorithm were compared with known approaches.

Abstract

The frequency features of ultrasonic transducers are examined. In the frequency domain and in domain of Discrete Fourier Transform complex impedances of transducers are presented in the form of the ratio of polynomials. The Gauss-Newton method with optimal weighting was used to decrease the errors of the Levy method. The results of the proposed algorithm were compared with known approaches.
