Analysis and optimization design of the influence of vertical grounding electrode on the performance of tower grounding device
The tower grounding device is crucial to the safe and stable operation of the transmission line, but in complex geological areas, it is often difficult to meet the leakage requirements due to the high grounding resistance. In order to achieve a reasonable design, this article builds a grounding simulation model based on the CDEGS platform, and systematically analyzes the effects of the length, number and soil resistivity of the vertical grounding electrode on the grounding resistance and leakage current distribution. Studies have shown that adding vertical grounding bodies can effectively reduce the grounding resistance, and the longer the length and the more the number, the more significant the resistance reduction effect, but there is a marginal effect. After exceeding a certain number, the resistance decrease rate slows down. Under soil stratification conditions, the grounding effect is significantly reduced, and it is necessary to avoid vertical grounding bodies penetrating into high resistivity soil layers.
