Development for a Flood Information Dissemination System Admin Module in Citeureup Village Using Iterative Incremental Method

Flooding is one of the most recurrent and devastating natural disasters in Indonesia, with over 50% of the nation's natural disasters related to floods. This study presents the development of a Flood Information Dissemination System designed to improve flood preparedness and response in Citeureup Village, West Java. The system aims to provide real-time data management, flood tracking, and alert dissemination to improve decision-making and response times during flooding events. An Iterative Incremental Method was utilized for the system’s development, allowing continuous improvement and adaptation to user feedback. The research primarily focuses on the admin module, which includes features for managing flood data, triggering alerts, and accessing citizen-submitted reports. The results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) show that the system received an 87.5% functionality score, indicating its effectiveness in supporting flood management. The implementation of this system aims to support the resilience of rural communities by providing timely and accurate flood alerts and facilitating the dissemination of critical data to help them prepare and respond effectively.
