Development of an IoT-Driven Fuel-Efficient Driver Assistant with Real-Time Monitoring and Smart Gas Station Recommendations
The transportation sector is currently facing significant challenges, including soaring fuel costs and the environmental impact of greenhouse gas emissions. This project proposes the development of a Fuel-Efficient Driver Assistant that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology and mobile web applications to address these issues. The system aims to provide real-time fuel monitoring, consumption tracking, and smart gas station recommendations to alleviate "range anxiety" among drivers. By utilizing IoT sensors for accurate fuel level data and employing a user-friendly mobile application, the proposed solution will empower drivers with critical insights into their fuel efficiency and nearby refueling options. The project will encompass the design of cost-effective system architecture, the development of a prototype mobile application, and the implementation of algorithms for fuel consumption calculations. Ultimately, this innovative approach seeks to enhance driving experience, reduce fuel-related stress, and promote more sustainable driving practices.
