Simulation of temperature field of pantograph and wire friction pair in ice-covered environment
In order to study the variation law of temperature field of pantograph-catenary friction pair in icing environment, this paper constructs a three-dimensional temperature field model based on COMSOL multi-physics simulation platform, which comprehensively considers the factors of friction heat, Joule heat, heat conduction and heat convection, and uses the element common node method to simulate the icing conditions of different thicknesses. On the basis of verifying the model, the influences of different currents, velocities, pressures and icing thicknesses on the transient and steady-state temperatures of friction pairs are systematically analyzed. The results show that the thickness of ice coating has a significant influence on the temperature field distribution of pantograph-catenary, and the thick ice layer enhances the thermal isolation effect, resulting in the increase of temperature fluctuation range. The rapid rise of temperature with time is mainly concentrated in the first 50 seconds, and then tends to a steady state. Under the same pressure, temperature is more sensitive to velocity changes.
