An Analysis Method for Displacement Current Suppression of Split Resonant Tank LLC Converter in Integrated PV and Energy Storage System
The impedance mismatch between the resonant inductance and resonant capacitance of the high-frequency LLC converter in Integrated PV and Energy Storage System results in asymmetrical displacement current conducted by the transformers flowing in the resonant tank. The distorted resonant current would weaken the primary ZVS performance and introduce electromagnetic noise. Given this problem, this paper proposed an analysis method for displacement current suppression of split resonant tank LLC, where the resonant inductor and capacitor is splited. It can completely balance and effectively suppress the displacement current between bridge arms. The mechanisms of displacement current generation, balance, and suppression are analyzed in detail. Finally, the correctness of the analysis was verified through simulation, EMI noise can be significantly reduced.
