An approach to improving the security of remote authentication systems
This paper improves the efficiency and security of remote biometric authentication in telecommunication networks. Using Saati Hierarchy Analysis, iris recognition was identified as the optimal biometric method based on interference immunity and error rates. Biometric template protection was enhanced by selecting BIN-SALT and BIN-COMBO methods for their accuracy and noise resistance. For secure data transmission, ICMP header steganography was chosen. LTE channel simulations with MIMO and AWGN demonstrated that 16QAM modulation, lower code rates, and 4×4 MIMO configurations improve robustness. The combined approach significantly increases the accuracy and resilience of remote biometric authentication systems.
