Research on Hardware-in-the-Loop Experimental Verification Technology for Large-Scale Power Grid Security and Stability Control System
To ensure the safe and stable operation of hybrid AC/DC power grids, a coordinated AC/DC control system has been simultaneously constructed. Verifying the reliability of system protection-level control systems—which involve multiple control layers, a wide range of influences, diverse controllable resources, and substantial control quantities—has become a key breakthrough direction for experimental validation technologies. This paper takes the AC/DC coordinated control system of an actual power grid as an example, examining critical aspects of control system-level hardware-in-the-loop experimental validation, such as the preservation of primary grid stability characteristics, the functional equivalence of secondary control systems, and the information exchange scheme between the two. Additionally, typical fault scenarios are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the control system-level hardware-in-the-loop experimental validation.
