Approximate Dynamic Model of Metallic Layer Bonded to Magnetoelectroelastic Half-spaces

A problem for a thin metallic layer in a magnetoelectroelastic material under the antiplane shear incident wave and inplane electromagnetic field is considered. Ideal mechanical contact and closed-circuit boundary conditions are prescribed on the contact line between composite elements. A new asymptotic model is obtained to account for the interactions between components of the given magnetoelectroelastic composite.

Abstract

A problem for a thin metallic layer in a magnetoelectroelastic material under the antiplane shear incident wave and inplane electromagnetic field is considered. Ideal mechanical contact and closed-circuit boundary conditions are prescribed on the contact line between composite elements. A new asymptotic model is obtained to account for the interactions between components of the given magnetoelectroelastic composite.
