Prescribed performance tracking control for switched nonlinear systems under impulsive behavior
In the paper, we utilize the prescribed performance control (PPC) design framework to achieve tracking with preselected and user-defined, transient and steady-state, performance characteristics, for a class of uncertain, state-impulsive switched nonlinear systems. The state impulses and the switched system dynamics are synchronous. The impulsive time sequence can be aperiodic with unknown impulse time instants. Besides the boundedness of all signals in the closed-loop, the proposed controller guarantees that between any two successive impulse time instances, the output tracking error converges to a predefined and arbitrarily small neighborhood of zero within a user-specified fixed time. Simulation studies verify and clarify the theoretical findings.
