Light flow control of fish-finding lighting equipment of a large-capacity trawler

Development of a control system for fishing equipment, optimal arrangement of fishing lamps with modern quartz-halogen and LED lamps, use of highly mechanized fishing gear, application of electronic control devices can significantly increase the efficiency of catching fish species that respond to the light of surface and underwater sources. Improvement of technologies for managing the quality of light radiation, design of powerful automated systems for searching and catching fish should be carried out taking into account their impact on the overall ship electric power system and the requirements imposed on it. When studying an automatic voltage regulation system for a lighting load connected to a synchronous generator through a thyristor regulator, it is necessary to take into account many factors limiting the use of other control devices, such as: the need for the source to withstand an asymmetric load for a long time with a difference between phase currents of no more than 20% of the nominal value; a wide range of voltage changes; The permissible value of the neutral wire current when using a four-wire “star” must not exceed 125% of the rated phase current of the ship's generator and is limited to two hours of continuous operation; full use (loading) of the generator by power; minimization of the weight and size indicators of all devices; maintaining the quality indicators of the ship's electric power at the proper level, etc. Taking into account all these factors requires modeling the entire system under consideration in modern software packages that allow determining the time diagrams of currents and voltages of the simulated circuit, integral calculations of important parameters and conducting a harmonic analysis. The methods of limiting the neutral wire current and reducing the harmful effects of its harmonics when using thyristor voltage regulators to control modern commercial lighting fixtures on domestic trawlers are studied (the ship's shaft generator MS-375-1000 with a rated voltage of 400 V is considered as a source of power for the fishing lighting equipment). The possibility of reducing the levels of higher harmonics in the ship's network by separating nonlinear loads associated with the operation of the regulator using resonant filters is shown.
