Indonesia is a disaster-prone country from a geographical, climatological, and demographic perspective. Its location between two continents and two oceans gives Indonesia high economic potential, yet also makes it vulnerable to disasters. Disasters always leave detrimental impacts, whether physical, psychological, or material.
