High-energy trauma leading to Galeazzi injury and distal radius fracture

A 39-year-old man presented to the emergency department with left forearm pain after a fall during a motorcycle accident, in which he landed on an outstretched, pronated hand. Physical examination revealed swelling, deformity, and tenderness over the left forearm without open wound or bruising.
