Design of multiband and multiaxis large spacing detection system

The multi-sensor optoelectronic system integrates components such as a multi-field-of-view CCD, an infrared thermal imager, and a laser range finder. The parallelism of its multiple optical axes is a critical performance indicator governing the system's reconnaissance, tracking, and measurement capabilities. To ensure accurate target detection and positioning, the optical axes of these diverse sensors must be strictly aligned. This study utilizes a multi-band, multi-axis detection system employing CCD components to measure the alignment between the system's axes and a reference axis. The proposed method addresses the limitations of low precision and efficiency in multi-axis parallelism detection over largespan axial distances, offering significant practical value. It is adaptable to various existing equipment systems. When integrated with a measurement data processing unit, the method enables digital parallelism detection for multiple axes— including the reference axis, infrared axis, television axis, and laser optical axis—under diverse operational conditions.
