Fiber-pumped Ti: sapphire laser: frequency and power stabilization for precision applications
This work presents a Ti:sapphire laser optically pumped by a 10W fiber laser at 532 nm, achieving an output power exceeding 1.8W. To better meet the stringent requirements of atomic precision magnetometry based on spin-relaxation free effects, particularly the power and frequency stability required over a 100-second duration, we developed a custom Ti: sapphire laser system equipped with a power stabilization loop and a Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) laser frequency control system. The frequency drift over 200 seconds was constrained to less than 2 MHz, and the power stability was significantly improved, reducing fluctuations from 0.3% to 0.06%. These improvements create robust technical foundations for Ti: sapphire laser implementations in quantum precision metrology, offering promising prospects for further development.
