The Role of Morphology and Syntax on Arabic Language (A Literature Review)

<p>This study aims to describe the role of morphology and syntax in Arabic language functions. This type of research is a literature study; data collection is done by searching and constructing various sources, both books and journals and research that has been done. The technique applied to analyze the data is content analysis. This analysis process involves several stages. First, the researcher performs editing, which involves reviewing the data that has been obtained. Next, the organizing step is carried out, where the data that has been collected is rearranged according to the predetermined framework. Finally, the inference stage was carried out, which involved further analysis of the results of the data compilation. The results show that morphology and syntax play a role in language functions of communication, self-expression, and analysis, reflected in the ability to speak, write, read, and understand texts.</p>
