PV hosting capability calculation of active distribution networks based on power supply path matrix

To address the challenge of balancing computational efficiency and estimating the overall photovoltaic (PV) hosting capacity of a distribution network, a analytical calculation method based on power supply path matrix for the feasible region of distributed PV integration is proposed. The method models the PV hosting capacity as a feasible region in a high-dimensional space. By integrating linear power flow equations and operational safety constraints, the network topology, grid structure, generation-load outputs, and safety constraints are expressed in matrix form. Analytical expressions for the feasible region of PV integration are derived using matrix operations. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through simulations on the IEEE 123-bus system.
