Thermal modelling of the soil to study the impact of climate change on the current rating of underground MV cables

The current rating of underground cables depends strongly on the characteristics of the surrounding soil. In this work, analytical models are implemented to assess the soil temperature and its thermal resistivity. These models will be used to forecast the soil characteristics assuming climate change.
