ECO-label for grid assets
The Dutch Regional Distribution System Operators (DR-DSO) joint forces in a consortium in order to create a business-to-business (B2B) certifiable ECO-label for grid related assets: the raw material passport (RMP). Also a certification schema has been developed, accepted by major Dutch accountancy firms. The certification scheme is based on ISO Standards e.g. ISO 22095, ISO 45557 and IEC 62542I. The KISS design principle and the Minimal Viable Product method were used as basis for the product development. The Certified RMP provides data to be used for CSRD, ESG and Circular economy reporting. It also provides basic information for CSDDD (social responsibility) analyses en reporting. The RMP is a first step in de the development of an eco-label in line with the EU Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
