Automated greenfield-planning of integrated low-voltage distribution network structures
Due to the complexity and potentials in planning an integrated energy infrastructure, especially when developing new quarters, a structured and integrated approach to planning network structures of the energy sectors electricity, heat and gas is necessary. Therefore, a methodology is presented, which enables clustering of low voltage (LV) network supply areas in a new quarter as well as the determination of separated, optimal trench structures with minimal overall length. Finally, the methodology is validated after its application to an exemplary new quarter. The resulting trench structures can be utilized as basis for a subsequent planning of the precise target network, while the individual methods can, with slight modification, be applied to planning the other sectors, heat and gas, as well.
