Ten point plan to accelerate the energy transition in Bavaria
Energy suppliers and distribution grid operators are in an ongoing dialog with politicians, regulators, industry and society in various contexts. Even though we have been actively driving forward the energy transition for over two decades now, we are still amid one of the biggest transformation processes of our time. It is not only the way we generate electricity that is changing, but also our mobility and heat generation. The three sectors of electricity, heat and mobility must therefore be considered and dealt with jointly, especially as the electricity sector will also supply parts of the heating and transport sector in the future. In the context of social responsibility, the transformation is taking place in compliance with the balance of the energy policy target triangle “sustainable, affordable and secure energy supply”, but various influencing factors can disrupt this balance. Therefore, constant dialog about obstacles and solutions within the energy-industry but also with involved stakeholders is essential. The presented 10-point plan is a vehicle for this dialog.
