Chất lượng công tác tuyển chọn vận động viên môn Bơi lội tại Đội tuyển trẻ và đội tuyển Quốc gia Việt Nam

Through documents analysis and synthesis and interviews with experts and coaches in the Youth and Vietnam National Sports Team, we evaluated the current state of athlete selection quality from 2010 to the present in three aspects: effectiveness of the selection process; the situation of different levels and criteria applied in selection; and the actual level of athletes. Results show that the selection process for swimming athletes has been maintained regularly, based on standardized criteria, and has proven effective; athletes have been recruited from the grassroots level upwards, and the majority of athletes in both teams have reached the level of national master of sports.
