Minería artesanal y su impacto en el desarrollo comunitario desde la perspectiva de la comunidad campesina de Llacuabamba en el Perú, durante el año 2022

This study aimed to determine the relationship between the variables “artisanal mining” and “community development” in Llacuabamba, a rural community in Peru. It adopted a quantitative approach with a correlational level, employing a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 179 local mining workers, and data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires. The dimensions of the artisanal mining variable were as follows: social, economic, and environmental impact. Likewise, community development also included three dimensions: strategy, comprehensive (holistic), and sustainable. The results revealed a significant relationship between artisanal mining and community development, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.596. Furthermore, all dimensions of artisanal mining exhibited a positive correlation with community development.
