Stability analysis for homogeneous systems with sector nonlinearities and finite-time average-consensus algorithm for double integrator systems
The paper is devoted to the problem of stability analysis for homogeneous systems with sector nonlinearities. Such systems are relevant to a various applications including finite-time controls, observers and consensus protocols. The proposed sufficient stability conditions are presented in the form of linear matrix inequalities. Based on the developed stability analysis method a new average-consensus protocol is proposed for a multi-agent system with double integrator dynamics. The theoretical results are supported with a numerical example.
