The article analyzes the legal regulation of the accumulation and confirmation of insurance periods for the purpose of insurance pension assignment. It is noted that insurance experience is one of the key legal facts necessary for the implementation of pension rights of employees. The prospects for the development of this institution of compulsory social insurance are considered.
