Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a technology for personalized updating and improving the level of professional competence of teachers based on the modern strategies of professional development and improvement of teachers implemented in the system of continuing professional education. This technology changes teaching methods, relying on personification and individualization, and promotes the professional development of teaching staff based on the principles of continuity, interconnection, and cooperation. The article considers strategies such as innovative methodology for improving continuing professional education; development of continuing professional education programs for teachers; project activities in continuing professional education for teachers; introduction of innovative technologies into the process of teacher professional development to adapt teachers to modern conditions and stimulate motivation for further professional self-development; and the formation and development of management teams, the implementation of which can affect ensuring the compliance of teachers’ qualifications with the changing conditions of professional activity. Scientific novelty lies in proposing new mechanisms based on an ecosystem approach, which transfer students from the position of passive performers to the state of active subjects, and in using mechanisms of self-government of professional and personal self-development, ensuring self-goal setting, self-organization, self-control, and reflection of continuous professional growth.
