The diplomatic system and the J. P. Morgan model Naya: political science analysis
This article continues the series on the concept of the "diplomatic system" and this time focuses on its dialectical relationship with John J. Nye's well-known concept of state power, which explores the use of "soft," "hard," and "smart" power in the geopolitics of leading nations. The author of this model assumes that the global order is a distribution of power at various levels. Strength is the ability to achieve a desired result, while the choice of a particular force is determined depending on the foreign policy situation. By the power of the state, he means those tools and resources that allow participants in international relations to achieve their goals. The essence of the concept of "power" by J. R. R. Tolkien Nye compares it to the weather, on which everything depends, but the influence of which is not always amenable to rational explanation or mathematical calculation.
