The multidimensionality of modern centers of power and the role of diplomacy

The article systematizes the approaches of domestic researchers to the reasons for expanding the typology of centers of power — the modern so-called “architects” of the emerging world order system and examines the features of their relatively limited geopolitical forms of interaction. In this regard, the article analyzes the relatively limited demand of centers of power for categories and types (models) of diplomacy in the process of their business relations. These include digital diplomacy, forms of participation, and the special role of the fi rst persons of power in the diplomatic resolution of modern challenges and threats, as well as sanctions diplomacy and mediation diplomacy.
