This article explores the artistic characteristics and cultural significance of Kazakh national crafts within the broader context of Turkic artistic heritage. From both artistic and ideological perspectives, the ethnocultural dimensions of Kazakh folk crafts are examined, as these traditions represent a vital phase of Turkic culture due to their historical depth and intricate content. Craft forms such as weaving, leatherworking, embroidery, jewelry making, and wood and metalworking illustrate the deep-rooted connections between Kazakh and wider Turkic craft traditions. Despite the acknowledged value of Kazakh crafts, their specific role in preserving and transmitting Turkic cultural identity remains insufficiently studied. This research addresses that gap by determining the position of Kazakh folk crafts within the system of Turkic artistic culture and analyzing their artistic and spiritual significance. It highlights the symbolic meanings and historical evolution of these crafts while considering their contribution to reinforcing Turkic ethnocultural identity. Through the application of semiotic, historical, and comparative cultural methods, the study offers a comprehensive analysis of how Kazakh crafts function as an integral element of Turkic visual culture. It also identifies key comparative features between Kazakh and other Turkic craft traditions, revealing both shared motifs and region-specific expressions. Ultimately, the research clarifies the unique role of Kazakh crafts in the broader Turkic ethnocultural framework and presents valuable scholarly conclusions grounded in symbolism and aesthetic worldview.
