Aksi penanggulangan sampah di Kelurahan Kebon Kangkung Kota Bandung
According to data from the Environmental Agency (DLH) of Bandung City, the amount of waste generated daily continues to increase in line with population growth and community activities. Improper waste management can lead to environmental pollution, ecosystem damage, and adverse effects on public health. Various efforts have been undertaken to address the waste problem in Bandung through policies, programs, and practical measures aimed at reducing, recycling, and managing waste more effectively. This community service initiative, in collaboration with local communities, the private sector, and relevant institutions, aims to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management. The approach involves the implementation of the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste management system through training programs and the development of environmentally friendly waste processing facilities, such as Reuse Waste Management Sites (TPS3R) and more efficient waste processing centers.
