Integrated vegetation management in E-REDES: compatible occupatio
In recent years, E-REDES has carried out more than 14,000 hectares of fuel management per year. However, these interventions indicate the need to identify solutions that promote biodiversity while ensuring legal obligations within the framework of Integrated Vegetation Management. To this end, E-REDES has endeavoured to work with academia to develop studies in which the main goal is to promote the implementation of differentiated intervention models in the fuel management strips, enhancing biodiversity values, generating value from ecosystems in rural areas, promoting integrated vegetation management as a green infrastructure strategy, true nature base solutions, which in the medium and long term, identify efficient and sustainable management practices and enhance the values in question.
