Planning the integration of electric mobility into the French distribution network: the specificity of EV charging in multi-unit residential buildings

The installation of charging stations in collective housing is a major level for the development of electric mobility in France. The largest French DSO Enedis has forecast the network modifications required to support these charging facilities, considering legal specifications and the gradual adoption of EVs. The required equipment and network investment needs are not a challenge for Enedis. The resulting trajectories, projected over a 30-year period, will contribute to Enedis’ industrial policy planning and enable a smoother investment profile over time.
