Analysis of the work of the prosumer with solar power plant and heat pump

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of households that, in addition to electricity taken from the distribution grid, when needed, also use electricity produced in their solar power plants and exchange energy from their heat pumps. The advantages and disadvantages of the application of such an integrated system in the household related to systems that use only electricity from the distribution network, electricity and gas, electricity and pellets, electricity and heat pump, and systems that also use their additional energy sources (solar power plant and/or heat pump), are the main topic of this paper. As an indicator of the economic feasibility of the system, the costs of its implementation and use are considered. Practically, the possibilities of the integrated system were analyzed over a long period in Elektrodistribucija Sombor, Serbia, in a household with a heat pump and a solar power plant, which almost completely covers its entire electricity consumption. The data analysis, which was measured over one year, confirms significant savings for households with an integrated system compared to households that use other classic systems for heating, cooling, and other needs. The analyses were based on energy prices in Serbia and the EU.
