Fındık Harmanlama İşleminde Kas İskelet Sistemi Rahatsızlıklarına Yönelik Ergonomik Risk Değerlendirmesi

Despite technological advancements and the widespread use of mechanized agriculture in the agricultural sector, human muscle power is still heavily utilized. The intensive use of human-based muscle power causes loss of efficiency in agricultural production, decrease in productionquantities and disruptions in the production process. The type, load, and duration of work lead to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS) due to the prolonged exposure of specific muscle groups to these loads. Such disorders are among the most common health problems encountered by agricultural workers. During hazelnut harvesting and threshing, workers' non-ergonomic postures, the amount of loads they lift and their repetition may causemusculoskeletal disorders. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluatethe ergonomic risk for musculoskeletal disorders of workers in the hazelnut threshing process. In the study, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), one of therisk analysis methods, was used within the scope of evaluating ergonomic risks. According to the analysis, the REBA scores for various tasks were as follows: 5 for feeding hazelnuts into the suction hose, 4 for screening line monitoring, 5 for lifting and aerating hazelnuts into the suction line, 9 for bagging threshed hazelnuts, and 4 for collecting hazelnuts using a blower machine. Hazelnut packaging and suction hose control work performed separately from harvesting were found to be at a high-risk level, requiring urgent preventive measures.

Despite technological advancements and the widespread use of mechanized agriculture in the agricultural sector, human muscle power is still heavily utilized. The intensive use of human-based muscle power causes loss of efficiency in agricultural production, decrease in productionquantities and disruptions in the production process.
