SOSIALISASI PENCEGAHAN PERNIKAHAN DINI DI DESA BONTO KECAMATAN SINJAI TENGAH

Abstract: The socialization to prevent early marriage is a form of effort that we make to prevent marriages under the age of 18. These marriages are caused by various causes including financial, family, education, social media, biology, pregnancy before marriage. The aim of this research is to provide a positive response to efforts to prevent marriages under the age of 18, as a provision for the future. The type of community service used is Participation Action Research. The results of this research are that the activity ran smoothly and the response given by the people of Bonto village was positive. There are several challenges, including the large number of participants who are hampered by inadequate transportation options, the large number of agendas that must be attended by the presenters, the long distance to the activity location, and conditions that make it impossible. The road's functional shortcomings mean it takes quite a long time to cross it.SA Keywords: Early Marriage; Law No. 16; Prevention Abstrak: Sosialisasi pencegahan pernikahan dini adalah sebuah bentuk pengupayaan yang kami lakukan agar tidak terjadinya pernikahan di bawah umur yakni 18 tahun. Pernikahan tersebut disebabkan oleh berbagai penyebab antara lainsecara finansial, pihak keluarga, pendidikan, media sosial, biologi, hamil sebelum menikah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk memberikan respons positif terhadap bentuk pengupayaan agar tidak terjadinya pernikahan dibawah umur 18 tahun, sebagai bekal dimasa depan. Jenis Pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah Participation Action Research. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kegiatan tersebut berjalan dengan lancar serta respon yang diberikan oleh masyarakat desa Bonto bernilai positif. Adapun beberapa tantangan, antara lain banyaknya peserta yang terhambat karena pilihan transportasi yang kurang memadai, banyaknya agenda yang harus dihadiri oleh pemateri, jarak yang cukup jauh menuju lokasi kegiatan, dan keadaan yang tidak memungkinkan. kekurangan fungsional jalan tersebut, perlu waktu yang cukup lama untuk melintasinya.
